Hands On Support
The Lions motto is 'We Serve' and this means our local community.
In recent years, we have supported local individuals and groups in several ways - helping to make a back garden secure for a young person with autism - contributing towards a sports wheelchair - contributing towards a local students working overseas on a schools project - helping someone to move house - contributing to the cost of the annual Christmas Dinner for Senior Citizens at the Shrubbery Hotel and getting people there and back - organising an annual children's party at Greenfylde First School with a magician and snacks for everyone, etc.
