Welcome to the web site of The purpose of the web site is to use the internet to give more information about the Lions Organisation and Ilminster Lions in particular. The Club was formed in 1976, based in Ilminster and currently has 26 members, who live not only in Ilminster, but in many of the nearby villages. The Club is grateful to the people of Ilminster and the surrounding area for all the support they have given us at our various fund raising events. These include the annual Summer Fete, 10k Road Race, Christmas Bazaar and many others. It has been eleven years since I was last Club President and I am very much looking forward to it once again. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then but what has not changed is the willingness of the Lion’s members, who still have the same determination to help those in and around the district of Ilminster, raising monies for the good of all in need, The new year starts with myself and hopefully with your help to raise again worthwhile amounts for genuine causes. This year I want to work towards recruiting new like minded people in order to extend our fund raising to reach even greater results. l hope you will find the web site informative and if you want any more information about us or our activities please follow the links on the appropriate pages, or use the contacts page to get in touch.
