Antiques Evaluation Day Wednesday 23rd  July 2008  Dillington House ILMINSTER

On a beautiful summers afternoon in a superb setting setting there was a steady  stream of people from opening time until about 6.30. Many people  brought a number of items for valuation and several people went away very pleasantly surprised at the value of some of their items.

The valuers Richard Bromell,  Naiomi Grabham and Mathew  Whitney  from Charterhouse Valuers of Sherborne were described as being friendly, very helpful and giving the right amount of background information. They were also complimented on how they managed expectations!  

The Lions club wish  to thank Charter House Valuers, Dillington House staff and the people who supported the event  enabling us to raise funds for a very worthwhile cause.
