We've
been going as a Lions Club since 1976, doing our best to
raise funds for local, national and international causes and
offering practical help to local people and organisations.
We are also very grateful to the people, youth groups and
businesses of Ilminster and surrounding villages who support us
so willingly in parting with their money at our various
events. The Club has 23 members who meet at the George Inn,
Donyatt at 7.30 on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month.
We have a busy year ahead of us and planning is now
starting. We are always grateful for any extra pairs of
hands. This year
I have said that in addition to all the other things the
club supports I want to designate my major charity as
S.U.R.E. THE BEACON CENTRE TAUNTON

Our Summer Fete is a
major event in Ilminster aimed at providing a great day out
for families.
We also get great support from local businesses who
advertise in our Summer Fete Programme. We are about to
start building this in the next few weeks.

This is the major sporting event in
Ilminster with over 300 runners taking part. Entry forms
